    Egan has a robust paid summer internship program. We're looking for motivated students searching for an exciting summer internship and potential long-term opportunity within our organization in the future!

Want to get hands-on digital marketing experience by working at a fast-paced organization? Egan Company is looking for a Marketing Intern at our corporate office located in Brooklyn Park, MN.


    This internship is a full-time temporary position for the summer of 2019 and will offer exposure to a broad range of marketing activities. This position will provide direct educational and practical experience in a hands-on environment.




    Typical responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:

    • Work closely with marketing team and other internal parties to execute effective business-to-business (B2B) and internal corporate marketing communications to include:
      • Content marketing (develop and curate content for social, web/blog, corporate communications, newsletters)
      • Marketing collateral content creation and layout
      • Project and personnel history (Egan Corporate and Team Resumes)
      • Event planning and promotion
      • Research
    • Assist in reaching and maintaining consistency in messaging overall communications of the company
    • Assist in updating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and databases
    • Collaborate with Business Development teams or Project Management interns to create, design and/or format client proposals, qualification statements and presentations
    • Complete special projects, as assigned
    • Identify new project and market opportunities and assist with implementation
    • Support marketing and sales initiatives that advance the Egan brand





    • Required: Junior or Senior-status of a four-year undergraduate program in any of these (or related) fields: Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Mass Communications, Business
    • Required: At least 1-2 courses related to online/digital marketing, social media, B2B marketing, SEO/SEM or content marketing
    • GPA of 3.0 or above


    A strong candidate will have the aptitude for (or strong examples of) these demonstrated skills:

    • Demonstrated knowledge with digital mediums (ie. email automation, digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM)
    • Demonstrated strengths in layout and writing, with strong writing/ examples to share
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
    • High level of pro-active approach/self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
    • Ability to work independently with a sense of purpose, decisiveness, and urgency
    • Demonstrated ability/aptitude to anticipate problems and suggest creative solutions
    • Ability to be creative and flexible due to changing priorities
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Innovative, collaborative, and team-oriented.
    • Flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
    • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to deliver clear, engaging and relevant copy that combines a creative spark, strong brand and audience knowledge, and a focus on strategic objectives
    • Ability to apply Associated Press (AP) style and Egan style guidelines to all content
    • A sense of humor and a desire to learn
    • Knowledge of digital community management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, blogs)
    • Photography experience a plus
    • Demonstrated interest in marketing
