  • Overview

    Egan Company is seeking candidates for an Electrical Estimator position located in Champlin, MN. The main focus of this position will be estimating electrical projects however, this role also supports Project Managers in the execution and planning of electrical projects. The specific responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.

    Responsibilities

    • Estimating responsibilities include electrical conduit installation
    • Assist and support multiple Project Managers with a variety of projects to include: Change Orders, RFIs, Submittals and job meetings
    • Attend project kick-off meetings and post-project reviews with project managers
    • Assist and oversee electrical installation projects
    • Assist in analyzing drawings specifications and related data to determine design requirements
    • Attend pre-bid project walk-throughs

    Qualifications

    • Strong background in electrical installation practices
    • Previous experience estimating commercial/industrial electrical projects preferred
    • Estimating software proficiency preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret specs and blue prints
    • Two year degree or Vo-Tech certificate preferred or 4 years related electrical experience
    • Valid driver's license and own vehicle for site visits
