    Egan Company is seeking candidates for an Account Manager position for its Champlin, MN location.

     

    The primary objective of this position is to build relationships with decision makers at all levels within assigned accounts, and to sell the Mechanical, Electrical and Limited Energy Service Trades to achieve plan.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve Quoted, T&M and Preventative Sales and GP plans
    • Use CRM software to prepare proposals and manage customer communications and activities
    • Conduct site surveys, work with support staff to create PM proposals, coordinate labor for best results with Dispatch, manage jobs as needed
    • Respond to internal and external phone calls and emails for maximum customer satisfaction and sales
    • Purchase equipment/parts for best results: quality, vendor, delivery, price, warranty
    • Approve AP and AR in timely manner
    • Attend sales or other required meetings
    • Attend monthly safety lunch and perform safety audits to help ensure a safe culture
    • Challenge the system to improve business - communicate any deficiencies to management
    • Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

    Qualifications

    Education/Training, and Licensing Requirements

    • High school or general equivalency diploma (GED) required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 2+ years sales or sales-related experience, preferably within mechanical, electrical or limited energy
    • Effective computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office and Gmail suite
    • Excellent social skills – ability to establish relationships
    • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Strong desire to learn and retain technical information
