    Egan Company is seeking candidates for an Inside Account Manager – Low Voltage position for its Champlin, MN location. The primary objective of this position is to provide a seamless operation of sales related activities working directly with customers and Account Managers to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The right individual will have a constant-improvement, sales-focused, “get it done” approach to their activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Account Managers as requested primarily within Low Voltage trades
    • Prepare and send proposals to customers at optimal margins to win deals
    • Use CRM software efficiently
    • Communicate effectively on a daily basis with customers, Dispatch, Account Managers and other Egan employees
    • Identify sales opportunities on service reports and within accounts – recommend solutions
    • Manage UL certificates and update portfolios
    • Procure products from suppliers at best prices; coordinate deliveries to ensure jobs go smoothly
    • Attend sales meetings and product training – continually learn the technical aspects of the business
    • Challenge the system to improve operations. Communicate any deficiencies to management
    • Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of experience preferred
    • 2+ years sales or sales-related experience, preferably within the electrical industry such as fire alarm, access control, security, general electric or building automation
    • Detail oriented, creative, able to multi-task and manage time effectively in fast paced environment
    • Effective computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft Office and Gmail suite
    • Excellent customer service skills - ability to establish relationships
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong desire to learn and retain technical information
